FORMATION OF A SENSE OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN FUTURE TEACHERS DURING PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROCESS

Abstract

The article is covered some aspects of forming a sense of social responsibility among stu-dents of institutions of higher education of pedagogical profile. Lights up the definition of the term "responsibility". It is emphasized that responsibility is the moral core on which all other qualities of an individual are based. It is called the factors that do not promote compliance with the appropriate level of social responsibil-ity by teachers. It is revealed the understanding of responsibility as a pedagogical category in the theoretical heritage of A. S. Makarenko and V. O. Sukhomlynskyi. It is stated that the current practice of teacher training is not effective enough. In the period of modernization of the system of domestic education, it is obvious that there is a need for a radical restructuring of the training of pedagogical staff, in particular, taking measures to form students' sense of social responsibility for the quality of educational work and, in general, for any task entrusted to them. For educators should be characterized by an active civic position, high general and spiritual culture, profound knowledge and methodological skills, scientific dialectical thinking. It is argued that the current system of teacher training requires modernization and substantial restructuring on the basis of modernization and diversification of forms of employment, taking into account the individual needs of the student, the organic combination of theory and innovative experience, in particular European, improvement of professionally directed personal qualities of the future teacher, especially the sense of civic commitment and social responsibility. The conducted experimental researches testify to the necessity to increase the proportion of pedagogical and psychological disciplines in the program of training of teachers, increase the vol-ume of practical classes, use of diagnostic and prognostic methods, a combination of educational and re-search and research work. Educational tasks must be implemented through students' actual social affairs.
